Default Broncos game - John Sullivan Trophy

I'm Steve Newcombe - Secretary of the Broncos Supporters Trust https://www.lbsa.org.uk - in peace!! Our game on Sunday will be the third staging of the John Sullivan Trophy https://www.lbsa.org.uk/sully/ - a joint initiative of the LBSA and the Broncos.
Sully was an Academy player of ours who tragically took his own life in 2014; unable to come to terms with life post football. A picture of Sully in action is on the LBSA home page.
We aim to use the Sully day to raise awareness of the issue of young men's suicide, and will be collecting money in support of the Sullivan family's nominated charity CALM - the Campaign Against Living Miserably https://www.thecalmzone.net. If you would like to contribute in Sully's name but can't make the game then donations can be made at our Online Store https://www.lbsa.org.uk/store/John-S...ion-p143998181
I hope you feel you can support this day, and I wish you all a safe trip!

Don't think any of you London fans need to declare you're here 'in peace'! I reckon we're all united in wanting your club to do well. And good luck with the fundraising.

Exactly, we only hate W***n, Warrington, Leeds, occassionally Castleford and sometimes the Hull teams. I'm not keen on Salford or Huddersfield either but you lot are alright.

    Good luck with this

I am sure that Saints supporters will back you on this either tomorrow or online.

Suicide especially amongst men is a huge problem in St Helens. Its important that we give messages about the support available so feel free to share this link widely

    Guys

Just an update - we raised a total of £573.22, including some online donations from Saints fans who couldn't make the trip. Thank you all again for your support on this - Sully means a lot to a lot of people here and you've done him proud!
Hope Bolton means the defeat was worth it - I'll be there to witness whatever happens in any case.
