Why should it be? Are you also using a ouija board?

Every message board of every team in every sport has rumours on it. How many on here actually happen?

You're stating a load of pish and why you'd want to bring attention to it is beyond me.

Boots getting a new outfit for next week from a St Bernard to a Bulldog.

    Time to support Widnes.

I thought you was asking about using Thompson as your travel agent for a trip to Australia.

Roosters or Rabbitohs IF he goes is my hunch. One of those two. Just to clarify, I have absolutely no foundation for this bar guesswork

Can you blame a player currently if he wants to better himself, if young a better lifestyle taking it in the NRL, I don't. we just have to wait and see what develops, but I will knock no one that takes the opportunity if it is for them.

I don't think anyone is saying they would knock Thompson for going, or that it would be the death of the club if he and Holbrook left, but there's no doubting it would be a significant knock. When we lost Graham and Eastmond at the same time we made two terrible signings to replace them and not long after that made the most disastrous coaching appointment in living memory. It took us a long time to recover from that. If these people do leave then Rush and McManus will have some big decisions to make that they'll need to get right.

    Hi all,

Heres the latest - Thompson is a done deal to the Bulldogs. Just awaiting confirmation as to whether it’ll be from 2020 or 2021.

Regarding Holbrook - he will have a job at the Titans if he wants it. Bulldogs will stick with Pay. So it’s now simply Justin weighing up whether to sign on with the Titans from 2020, or recommit to St Helens. The Titans job is very much regarded as a poisoned chalice, which I think he acknowledges, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he stays put and bides his time. But I can 100% confirm the Bulldogs are off the table.

    You're still keeping this pretence?

Is it a psychological problem you have?

Have you sought help for it?

Why would Thompson need to go to Australia anyway?. My understanding is set up as a very wealthy young man. Its not like he needs the cash as everyone else does; his old blokes business has taken care of that.

the personal challenge of playing and competing in the best league in the world?

the lifestyle of living in Sydney for a few years?

    not everything is about money.

Or just go over to Spain and live the life of luxury in the "fantastic" villa the family own over there and where most of the squad go for a chill out at the end of each season .

Friends and relatives who have been there since around 2010 reckon Sydney is going downhill with social life issues and part of the city is looking more like Hong Kong. Thommo would be better off in Southport, UK.

Exactly. As many have already mentioned, he’s not short on cash, so it’s a minor factor. The challenge is his primary motivator.

I’m sure that if Thommo left for the nrl that numerous clubs would want to sign him so I don’t know why he would go to the dogs because they are utter dogsh*te !

I've heard similar and to be honest when I was in Australia I found it a bit boring. I'd love to go back for a holiday and meet my mates there but wouldn't want to live there. Just my opinion of course but aside from anything, it's a long way and a huge country. I was saying to my missus the other day about the foreign lads liking the fact that they can jump on a flight and be in Amsterdam or Paris in an hour, I think I'd miss that and my family.
