I'd be very surprised if we didn't make a play for Robbie Mulhern, if Hull KR are relegated, and we lose Douglas & Amor.

Ashworth lost a bit of time due to injury but Lees has come through from under 19 over the last couple of seasons, there must have been another couple of props in the same team.

We have a few young backs knocking on the door but obviously props need a bit more time to develop .

Some games in the remainder of this season would present a good opportunity to blood any promising youngsters
Callum hazzard 20 year old went to crusaders at the start of season.

Exactly, although someone mentioned Robbie Mulhern, I think would be a decent signing and probably not cost the earth. I'd like to see a few cameo's by the younger lads too once we get top spot sorted.

Back in the Cunningham era I remember getting frustrated that we wasn’t signing players. Funny how things change :-)

In the Cunningham era, I got frustrated when he did sign anyone as they were all totally underwhelming!

Look at the wingers that played under Cunningham as well when he had Grace waiting in the wings.

I know he's signed up but I'd love to see Mose back. A totally different player fit and lean. I can't believe that we wasted him as a 10 min decoy running nuisance. Plays big minutes at HKR so he can do it.

Different player, I see him fairly regular and he looks like a bloke happy with life at the moment, I can't imagine that was the same 2 years ago.

Its a strange one with Mose he does look fitter and plays more minutes but he doesn't seem to be an impact prop anymore, his metres, tackle busts, offloads are almost identical to Amor's stats.

Me too definitely far fitter than when he left , watched him a few times , his defence is awesome , he would be immence with all the young guns , Amor , Douglas leaving, this guy would not half look after the youngsters .

I think not getting him fit was wasting him. No excuse in the modern game.

I've not looked at his stats. That game against Leeds he looked sharp. Stats are one thing but perception and enigma are important. When he was at Saints he occasionally only touched the ball a few times a game but the opposition were always watching him. Even off the ball.

I completely agree. I'd have Cuthbertson if Leeds want shut.

Hard to find a fault in Coote really but one thing I'd like to see if him putting Kev & Percival away more. I think teams might become wise if he continues the cut out ball without any real alternative. Thought first half Wire was a good example, first one to Grace is great and we nearly score but then next two occasions Charnley is already on the slide and Grave is covered. Not really a criticism because he's been superb so far in general but if he can start doing that then our attack becomes even more difficult to stop.

One of the most annoying and frustrating things about Cunningham was that more often than not he would bring Mose onto the field when we were in a period of defending and when attacking we would use him as a decoy for the rest of the forwards. The flavour of KC's tenure was the "grind" and thats wasn't Mose's game at the time, he also had quite a few games were as regular as clockwork he would be taken off after 8 mins.

That drove me potty! Cost per min was horrendous! No pro rugby league player should be doing so few minutes and actually not touch the ball during that time.

I'm not sure I would want him back, but he is much better than the player we had does the minutes and has the work rate. Garbutt like Mose, looks much fitter and a much better player at HKR.

That's why he left Stiddy , as he said at the time and I quote "I'm not coming halfway around the world to play for 10 minutes"
