Trying to buy their way out of trouble at this stage of the season is against the spirit of the competition for me. Really hope that the Broncos send them down (even if it means all the other teams throwing their games to help )

I wouldn’t mind us giving them the 2 points in the next game. We could just say we were resting players for the following weeks semi final

Guess that puts the Hastings to Leeds move to bed.
Can I just say that:
In: Martin, Lui, Lunt
Out: Lolehea, Parcell, Watkins
Doesn’t feel like Leeds have improved any? I know Lolehea has been a bit of a flop, but showed up well in his game against us earlier in the season - and it’s not like Lui is known for his consistency. Parcell and Watkins (even in poor form, second row Watkins) just seem categorically better than their replacements.
As funny as it would be to see leeds go down, I just think it would financially and commercially be detrimental to the game.
If it was for 1 season it probably would not be that big a deal, but how many teams of that size (regularly hitting 10k attendances) do we have?
Leeds
Wigan
Hull FC
Saints
Will clubs like
Cas
Wire
Hull KR
Catalans
Ever hit those heights
How many
Huddersfields
Wakefields
Salfords
Can we afford
London too whilst great for location are going to have to grow to get to a medium sized club level.
Toronto would be a good addition, but I really want the sport to grow rather than shrink.
they didn't bring many to us a couple of weeks back.
Think Wigan signed a couple of aussies in the early 90's mid-season one year on top of all the stars they'd brought in from everywhere else. Cant recall who they were but it was during the time when they had internationals playing in the A' team. They were practically unbeatable as it was and i remember thinking how could it be allowed to happen.
How are they fitting them all in under the Salary Cap?
Heard last night Leeds signed Luke Gale for next season 150 grand and a player I was told
