Default Visiting for Saints v Wigan

    Hi everyone,

I am coming to the St Helens v Wigan match on 12/07/19 from mid Wales and it will be my first visit to the stadium. Can anyone tell me the best place to park? I have a young child so would like to get as close as possible. Many Thanks Ross.

Chalon Way is probably the easiest, closest to the pubs in the town centre and an easy walk to the stadium.

Park on Jackson Street and follow everyone else to the ground over the little railway bridge or park on the grass on Peasley Cross lane everyone seems to be getting away with-it these days or to be safe park in town centre and walk to the ground 10 mins at most over the Ste Prescott bridge

Confirmed as not on Sky. First time since 1995 and the end of 94 consecutive League games shown by Sky. I hoped some common sense would prevail and they’d negotiate a red button type affair and you could watch one on the red button.

May actually be a good thing by virtue of the fact it forces the ‘watch it in’t pub’ brigade to bother their arse to turn up to a game.

Where is it confirmed? I've been on the skysports website and checked the fixtures, normally under the matches it says which one is on sky but it doesn't for the Friday.

On the Sky Sports scheduled list of fixtures there is a blank for Friday July 12th - seems strange.

Shout for me too, as I'll be watching KISS farewell tour in Manchester. Last time they were touring the Manchester Arena was attacked by Islamic terrorists two days before their gig (the Arianna Grande gig), so it was obviously cancelled. KISS were a big deal for me in my formative years, so a chance to see 'em one more time trumps even the mighty Saints!

Confirmed in St Helens Star Hull K R v Leeds. Hopefully, this should put a thousand or so on the gate, but a lot of arm chair critics will still stay at home and wait for the tries after the televised match. and then come on here and give their opinion of the match

Looks as though the council are listening to the residents so beware

I am sure there was one in the 2000s some time that wasn’t televised, think it was away

I think you're right, a Thursday night game maybe and we took about 6000. Not happy it's not on TV as I'm in work.
