If he picks the strongest 17 from that 19 then Costello and Welsby will miss out and we’ll be something like:

    Coote
    Swift
    Naiqama
    Percival
    Grace
    Richardson
    Fages
    Thompson
    Roby
    Lees
    Peyroux
    Bentley
    Knowles

    Paulo
    LMS
    Amor
    Ashworth

Welsby for Coote is another possibility depending how many he wants to rest. Can’t see Costello playing but you never know.

Rest them all. Let London win in the hope Leeds get relegated.

Id like to see Ashworth given a run in the 2nd row. Would expect Welsby on the bench to hopefully give Coote a rest if the game is wrapped up. Costello and Bentley/Amor to miss out.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

If he goes with that selection we should be a match for anyone in SL.

I would replace Coote with Welsby as Coote hasn’t had a rest from playing really. I would have left Percival out personally too after recently having a hamstring injury, the 4G pitch is less forgiving and we could have afforded to air on the side of caution with him. Simm would have been ideal to replace him and got his debut. Swift could replace Tommy too so his rest game would have been against lesser opposition and kept him away from playing on a 4G with his knee history. Smith to have got more game time for Roby again due to more impact on the body from the 4G pitch.

If Coote is 100% he should play. Fullback isn’t the most physically demanding position on the pitch as your sweeping behind the defensive line rather than driving up and backtracking after every tackle.

Can see Welsby getting a shot somewhere whether it's starting or on the bench. Good a time as any to rotate and use the squad I think. Surprised Roby is playing but someone posted on Twitter yesterday that he's going in for a groin op next week and could be put for 4-6 weeks so if that's the case makes sense to play him and then allow Smith some time off as he'll be playing more regularly after this. I had heard something similar about Roby carrying a groin injury.

That's a shocking result. To not score a point at home against a team second from bottom is pathetic.

Sadly, with London struggling, I think Leeds will be safe.

    Gutted.

Apparently the Academy are playing London before the 1st team tomorrow, good opportunity for fans to have a drink at the ground before the 1st team play and watch the younger players coming through our system instead of having a drink away from the ground. Could have a warm up with the singing during the Academy game too which I,m sure the lads would appreciate. If I was going myself I,d watch the Academy game beforehand but taking the opportunity to get some overtime in work for hols money

“The Mother of all shocks” said Brian Carney on Friday. We needed bringing down a peg or two - thinking we were invincible and all that. On to the Giants. Is this our mid-season blip?

Showed no respect to London and got what we deserved. Well done Holbrook.

Not seen the game but the fact we rested a few of our big guns is probably more of a reason for the defeat than any “blip.” They’ll be back for next Friday no doubt.

Never nice losing but not resting players is something he got criticised for last year. Obviously leaving so many out today runs the risk of losing but it’s not the end of the world. Still 4 clear.

Yeh but it's one extreme to the other resting too many is what annoys people!

Coote did not play, if he was rested, that was a big mistake. There is no need to rest a full back. All this talk about being miles better than anyone else is rubbish, we have two games in hand over Warrington and have yet to play them twice at their place

Why would we rest players when quite a few are only just returning from injuries. It's madness.

Spot on YG, JH is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Plenty of ex Saints players were obviously up for it, Fozzard and Morgan in particular. Better to not risk the likes of Lomax and Walmsley in this fixture so that they are injury free to face a resurgent Huddersfield on Friday. Onwards and upwards. More brassed off that the Crust Munchers squeaked a win with a drop goal! Can see 'em making the top five and then it's knock out footie!
