    Default Sheens sacked

Sacked after losing 5 of last 6.

Might he end up at Wigan or Leeds? He was very successful in NRL but has his stock now fallen too low?
When he first came over I always thought he was biding his time for a big job but I'm not so sure now.

I think he was spoilt with the players he had. I honestly don’t think he’s that good of a coach. I mean he’s coached around 750 games in his career which is impressive. But only winning just over half (51%) compare that to JH (80%) Brian Noble (63%), Tony Smith (70%) Shaun Wane (68%).

The guys just good at winning just enough to get a premier. Think there’s plenty better imo.

If you get Sacked by Hull KR, you are unlikely to follow it up with one of the big jobs. I think he'll either have to drop down into the Championship to rebuild his reputation, or go back to Australia and hope someone gives him a job based on his record from a decade ago.

He's 68 now, I would've thought he's be looking to hang up his clipboard.

Hard to compare him with those coaches, they all managed teams with resources rather than the Hull KRs of this world. However, I wouldn't want him anywhere near Saints.

A lot of his stats are from the NRL, a league with more money, resources than Super League,

Think they'll bother with a signed contract this time?

If that happens I can foresee some epic meltdowns amongst their fanbase.

Which surely must be Smiths decision, how KR wouldn’t jump at the chance or signing him for multiple years with what he did with Leeds, then went and turned Wire around. IMO I think he is one of the best SL coaches out there.

My thoughts are that he’s only there to get back into the swing of things for a few months before ending up at Wigan or Leeds

Rumour had it that HullKR were courting the up and coming York City Knights coach James Ford.

Wouldnt surprise me if Ford is going at end of season and Smith moves upstairs. He could offer a lot to a club like Hull KR
