Semi Final v Halifax.
Guarantees Wembley, but also removes any possibility of removing Warrington before we get there.

I’m not looking at the other semi-final, I won’t bother looking till the times comes that we’re definitely in the final.
St Helens Rugby League Football Club
Let’s dust wanky in the final.
Not ruling out Hull pulling off a win though a one off performance. They are so up and down, they don’t even know what to expect week on week.
Best result for the rfl though

How on Earth is it the worst possible outcome? Given our horrendous semi final record and the pressure that is on the team every time we play one getting the easiest team is definitely the best possible outcome. I’d rather have one tough game instead of two.
If Hull turn up I can see them beating Wire
Nah, I’m happy with that. Let Wire and Hull (who are quite capable on their day) knock the stuffing out of each other while we get our semi-final hoodoo put to bed.
You can’t win the cup without beating at least one big team so either way we have to turn up when it matters. Either Hull or Wire will be tough at Wembley. Part of me is gutted because no doubt plenty folk (our fans included) will be saying we only got there because we got an easy semi
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
Long way off to that semi final just put it on the back burner and wait to see how things are shaping up with Hull and Warrington. A week before the semi final Saints away to London, Warrington away to Castleford and Hull away to Leeds.
I'd love to play wire in the final its two great teams
It is what it is.
Halifax will come to town to spoil the party. Looking no further past them until then.

There’s no one in the hat to fear. Was happy with anyone, and we have to focus on ourselves
Was it 2006 when we played HKR in the semi when they were still in the championship?
You don't win trophies by worrying about who you might or might not play in each round or the final. Pure nonsense from the OP
I’d say it was the best possible outcome personally. We are all but guaranteed a trip to Wembley barring anyone being sent off in the semi final and Warrington have to get past a team who are capable of beating them, as shown 2 weeks ago.
If Warrington do win, then what a showpiece final that will be. Saints v Warrington at Wembley is a dream ticket for the RFL and neutrals alike, the place would be bouncing!
NEVER WRITE OFF THE SAINTS
11 years.... come on this is the game everyone wanted let’s be honest.
This wonderful St. Helens OUTFIT
Sorry - I was censoring a more familiar phrase and it probably didn’t come out clearly.
What I meant was: who cares what other people say about how we get to the final? Let them think or say whatever the hell they want - the important thing is getting to Wembley and lifting that cup.
Ahh right! My fault, been a long weekend. Yeh i know i shouldn’t care but it just does my head in when our own fans try to take things away from us. The Ben Flower thing being the best example. If we win at Wembley we will be worthy cup holders imo. Hull and Warrington are both top teams on their day!

A relative bye to the final is the worst possible outcome?
Weird.

IF it's a Saints v Wire final we'll be sick of the sight of them by then.
We play them on June 28th, and again on August 9th and the Cup Final is August 24th!!!
