Seems to be a rumour doing the rounds at the moment. All over the Cas forum & reported by Dave 'Nosey' Parker too in the rugby press. Seems to be a strange decision if true.

They swore blind they had signed Walmsley the other year. I can see Theo wanting to be paid a lot more,he was only a teenager when we signed him. He has to weigh up being part of a very good team Vs money. I can't see Cas offering him very much more than we would do. As magic superbeetle says it sounds very much like agent talk.
I would imagine in a salary capped sport that many other Superleague clubs could offer Fages more money than us when you look at the quality of our playing roster (with the majority of them tied down). With recent reports of NRL clubs interested in Hastings again, I can see Wigan making an offer to Fages.
If somebody offers you double your salary for doing the same job your going to go? its a short career and good look to him just bring the Superleague trophy home this year.
If he goes it will be a loss that's for sure. He started as a s/h and with playing there on a regular basis he is improving week on week and is playing with more confidence and creativity.
Gale, Trueman and Aston-not sure Cas will be after another HB
Can't stop the spirits when they need you.
This life is more than just a read through.
Saints would miss Fages if he went elsewhere , a young experienced player just coming into his pomp .
Hope Fages stays, especially with the way he’s played this year and he’ll only get better.
If he does decide to leave do we pick Richardson ahead of him? For me we have to.
Richardson not good enough for me , if Fages leaves I would play Lomax scrum half and Welsby stand off
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
