    Default CUP DRAW Quater Finals

    Just thinking.

The cup draw is before our game. If the balls are numbered 1-8 in alphabetical order of the clubs, will we be "H" as in Huddersfield or St Helens or "S" as in St Helens or Huddersfield.

    If we are under "H"

    1 will be Bradford
    2 will be Catalans
    3 will be Halifax
4 will be Huddersfield or St Helens
    5 will be Hull FC
    6 will be Hull KR

7 & 8 will be determined by the winners of Warrington and Wigan but that will be known before the draw takes place

    If we are under "S"

    1, 2 & 3 will be the same

    4 will be Hull
    5 will be Hull KR
6 will be St Helens or Huddersfield

Will we know who our opponents are assuming we beat Hudds before we kick off our game?

What’s now almost 100% certain is the semi finals will be held at Headingley.

How did you know? Lol. Watch wire get the winner in the semi. That's assuming they beat Hull KR obviously.

I think Hull KR will give them a decent game

This made no sense at all, I thought hang on, have you been on the pop, old boy? then I twigged that you missed out Wakefield being the other “occupant” of the 7 or 8 slot.

You’d have to say that a semi final line up of Saints, Wire, Hull and Bradford would attract a bumper crowd at Bolton.

Anyway, I think a SF line-up of a Humberside derby and us renewing rivalries against Bratfud would be ace.

They definitely are - we were given promo ticket details as we were leaving the ground yesterday.

Presume Bolton’s ground has been cleared to be ok for that weekend ? It’s
all locked up at the moment and the hotel is closed.

Maybe we could play the semis at the Pie Dome as the goons are short of cash and are doing nothing that weekend.

Take the 'doing nothing that weekend' point, but the rentboys wouldn't get a penny from the SF's being held there. I'm sure they're all so pleased they sold out their asses to Dave Wheelybin, who was always just wanting to use them to generate more cash to build a new stadium for his beloved football club.

Isn't it that time of year where they aren't allowed to play at their rented home for a couple of months while the football lot replace the pitch?
