Am I really supposed to believe that yesterday's attendance was exactly the same as the one on Monday against Hull, or has somebody forgot to amend their cyber spreadsheet?
It's important. I'm a statto! :-)

THIS YEAR LENDING SUPPORT TO:- St. Helens RLFC, Manchester City, Celtic, Alemannia Aachen, Steps 1 to 6 Non-League Football
The fans want Sunday rugby apparently. That was embarrasing yesterday
I don't know which way you are beefing about here? Are you saying the crowd was lower than that published, or higher? I thought there looked to be 11,000 in on Sunday. The away end had 2,000 or so people in it, which it wouldn't normally have against Catalans. Hull were compacted into a smaller section whereas the full stand was open yesterday.
Think you've missed the point. 'Officially' we've posted exactly the same attendance two games running. They seemed fairly similar, just not THAT similar
11k for a sunday game against a team that doesnt bring many away fans , imo, isnt half bad.
I loved the sunday game. First game ive been able to attend , bar Good Friday, this year. Wish we had more during the season.

wouldn't it be better to play the figures down for tax reasons?
Yes but given these are modern day businesses I doubt the old fiddle is done anymore.
It would not be worth any potential fine, also irt would require all gate staff to be in on the fraud and I seriously doubt we pay them enough to stop a whistlblower confessing all.
Don't forget season tickets holders are counted in the attendance figure even if they don't turn up
Once a blue always a blue
Yes apparently it was tickets for £10 and £5 of that went back to the amateur club. So if you sold 20 tickets your club got £100. Looked like there was quite a few that took up the offer. If we sold 2000 tickets on the offer the club get £10,000 (that they normally wouldn't get for an empty stand) and £10,000 goes back into the amateur game. Fantastic idea IMO
