My lad and I will be going to the Magic. First time I've entered Anfield since the 2006 European Championships, when I watched Italy play Russia!
It'll be my first Magic Weekend, purely because I live in the city and it suits me, but I don't think it makes half as much sense as a location as Newcastle does.
My first magic weekend as well. I live 15 min walk from Anfield.
Would have loved to go to the Newcastle and Man City ones but just didnt work out.
People fretting about the Marathons are getting annoying. Im running the 5k on the Saturday , 1 mile fun run on the sunday and will make both days for the opening.

I'll be going
Reports say wire have sold out thier tickets, if they have others will have, which suggests there may be more tickets sold than the neg heads are suggesting
Agree - as an ex Ormskirk resident there was always a good group of us Saints fans. When the team trained at Edge Hill, Ormskirk I wonder what was done then to interest the Uni community ( very little i expect in those days but clubs are more aware of how to do this now).
I can't make it that weekend unfortunately.
If I can't go everyone else will have a much better time. Get your tickets booked
LSF rides again
Oh I dunno, perhaps supporting the team? It is exactly like stating you wont go to an away game as you dont want to give money to a rival club.
I'm sure the club are gutted they dont have your support and I'm sure everyone else going is equally as devastated that you will not be there. Almost as much as they were when you went quiet on here for a small period of time
THIS YEAR LENDING SUPPORT TO:- St. Helens RLFC, Manchester City, Celtic, Alemannia Aachen, Steps 1 to 6 Non-League Football
Is it just me or does anyone else think the Liverpool RL side was a media stunt when Magic Weekend was announced.....just saying.
Learned comment from The Don
Didn't Liverpool have a rugby league team some years ago? The Liverpool Buccaneers as I recall.
