Default Huge thanks to the club

I've been chaperoning Limoux Under 15s this week while they were on a short tour over here, part of which was arranging stadium visits to Warrington, Wigan and our ground.

Have to say that whilst the visits to the HJ and DW were interesting for them ( in spite of the one to Wigan being largely football focussed as the Goons only have access to the ground on matchdays) the one to TWS totally blew them away. An outstanding tour of the ground by John - during which Tommy Martyn came over for a chat - was followed by a visit up the the training facilities at Cowley. Unfortunately most of the players had finished, but LMS was still there and exchanged loads of banter with them, as can be imagined.

The icing on the cake was an appearance by Theo Fages - who came back up to Cowley from swimming! - to have a chat / photo session with them. Huge thanks to Theo - and to Matt who made a massive effort to get in touch with him.

40 young French lads and their parents / coaches heading back to Limoux this morning with a fantastic impression of our club and players, and one proud Saints fan waving them off.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............

Well done to the club, and well done to you for organising it. A far cry from the 'isolationist' policy of the Cunningham era!!!

Couldn’t agree more, fantastic the way the club have engaged with the fans again. Well done Saints and warringtonsaint too.
