In talks with two nrl clubs for 2020. He has made a brilliant start to the season I would hate to lose him from the team.

Think Theo suits the British game more, and I have rated him since he was first signed, not sure he would cut it in Australia, time will tell if it happens.
Sounds like the usual agent talk, out of contract and all of a sudden this turns up.
I'd have Danny Richardson over Theo but Theo is playing superb this season.
Can't keep both but Theo looks to be in the driving seat ATM if he wants to go he will?
If he does go to the NRL I think it would be in a couple of years. I will be surprised if he leaves, now. Saints want him (interview with JH). I for one hope he stays. Yes I rate Danny, but if we use Danny we would have to readjust the team to cover his lack of tackling ability.
Humans are more concerned with having than being.
It doesn't surprise me, we're his third club and each time he has moved to further his career so in that respect his natural next step is the NRL
I think we have to accept that any good, young player is going to get tapped up by the NRL while Super League is restricted by the salary cap
Think Saints top priority should be to tie down Thompson on a long term deal and perhaps Holbrook. I’m not convinced On Fages as our scrum half yet but he is improving every week and his tackling is spot on.
Time will tell, but I believe we could keep hold of him?
He’d last 5 minutes there, he’s nowhere near good enough. I’d happily see him leave if we signed a proper 7 who offers some creativity. Jackson Hastings would be ideal but I suspect he’ll be back in the NRL.
Big fan of Theo but can't see him nailing down a starting role at half back for any side in the NRL realistically.
Hope he stays with us and pens a decent contract extension and kicks on in the next few years.
My initial thought was that he wouldn't be great in the NRL. And then I remembered that Tyrone Roberts started for Gold Coast at the weekend!

Holbrook really rates Theo, can't see him letting him go without a fight
im not too surprised if this is true. NRL clubs have enough money to take the odd gamble on a player (Jordan Turner). Fages is a raw talent, is tough and tackles above his weight. If NRL clubs can make improvements to other areas of his game theirs no reason he couldn’t make it down under.
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
Surprised really. Only just managed to get a starting spot. Richardson could easily slot back in and is suited more to a 7 than fages. Great player to have and would rather him stay but not big boots to fill.

I think he is highly suited to the NRL, exactly their type of halve
I agree.
No different to any other player. Other clubs were "swarming" around Lomax.
It's just part and parcel of negotiating when in the last year of a contract.
I would like him to stay and think he has been underused and at times hard done by.
That said I don't think Saints should break the bank and overpay for him.
If he gets a genuine monster offer from the NRL then good luck to him.
I like Fages, however in a salary capped sport I wouldn’t pay over the odds to keep him.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
