If he did want to coach Wigan then you would have thought he would have snatched their hand off- he obviously isn’t that bothered or he is fishing for much more money. If I were them so wouldn’t take him now regardless.

Agreed, I just don't see it working out for them if he goes there, to much of a mess now

What a farce, looks like he has really let Wigan down, out of order really.

TBH the best thing for Wigan now is to know what is happening so they can plan for their future, looks pretty desperate for them ATM, disruption behind the scenes, questionable quality and playing poorly

Wigan didn't give him a contract at the time,it's their fault for not tying it all up when they should of.

Agreed - the whole thing has been an embarrassing fiasco for the game. Both parties have been at fault. Edwards has come across as an arrogant chancer stringing Wigan along and using his past reputation as a bargaining tool to get a better deal in RU. Wigan have been so amateurish and naive in trusting him and I’m sure the notorious press conference will be used as an image of shame for years to come. I have the usual saints hatred of Wigan but I do feel sorry for the majority of their supporters having been sold this.

Maybe but he gave word and joined them going to press, so he knew what the agreement was. But yes I wouldn't do business like that

I half agree pal. Part of me suspects that Wigan were in on it and just used Edwards to flog more of those 5 years season tickets. Wigan are like Bradford in the mid 00’s giving away season tickets. Competitive on the pitch but not doing well off it. Leneghan is a decent business man. If he were serious about signing Edwards he would have got it on paper IMO.

It should be remembered that Edwards was taken to half a dozen rugby League clubs before he signed for Wigan , so he is only doing it again.

    Lolololol.

To further their embarrassment just seen on Instagram Wigan have released their magic weekend kit, their fans are not happy at all. All commenting that it resembles a Saints kit. The farce continues to please.

Sometimes you have to listen to your partner. Edwards lives in Chiswick with his partner and little girl, she didn't want to move north. Perhaps she saw enough on her visits.

Not going to get carried away gloating here. We all know what has happened in the past when an out of form, banged up Wigan have played us.

I think as a club we are better than gloating, I think it's a sad state of affairs for rugby league

Both Warrington and Wigan have agreed to wear the same style kits they wore in the Milwaukee challenge game in 1989. I'll have to try and find my original one, do you think it'll fit?

I realise that, but the wire kit is similar to kits they have worn around the 80s, 90s were as wigans just looks like a saints shirt

The Wigan one looks like one we wore in the 1960's but I'd rather forget that game.

Edwards has had Wigan’s pants down, played them like fools.

One of the main reasons given is because he couldn’t go Australia for enough time before joining, yeah alright then!!

    A song for Friday perhaps?
“Where’s Shaun Edwards gone, where’s Shaun Edwards gone?”

To the tune of “where’s your Mama gone, where’s your mama gone?”

Yes apparently he has done it to help Wigan, its nonsense and to think anyone would believe that is playing us all for fools
