I could not get to the game last night but listened to it with the playing part of the Wigan v Huddersfield game on and then listened to the expert summaries on TV and was impressed with this lady .

I was going to ask if she was related to you know who, but just noticed the different spelling.
Edit. The question still stands. The spelling above is missing the 'h'
could be my age.
It was refreshing to have a new and knowledgable pundit on Sky. I hope that they look beyond International Women’s Day and have her on again. I also heard Rugby and Rugby League mentioned in commentary. Maybe the Sky outlook is changing.
She's been helping on the commentary on the BBC Thatto Heath CC game. She was very good.
Thought Jodie was great. Completely clued up on the sport and was a natural on camera. Give her a job SKY!
She was also the studio guest once early on last season, I think it was when the women's comp was starting. Comes across really well and is very likeable and knowledgeable. Would have her on every week, miles better than O'Connor/Clark/Powers etc.
"Never write off the Saints!!"
Enjoyed listening to her, refreshing to hear a different voice
Is it not bad enough that we have competition from Union and the NRL now flatd**k are taking the limelight too? Good grief
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
She was good. Refreshing that she actually gave an opinion when asked for one instead of hedging her bets.

Jodie is doing great work for the game, TV work is also very good, she will be around for a while after she puts her boots up.
No reflection on Jodie, but since EH retired, Bill Arthur and Stuart Pyke have been a step down as primary commentators. I’d like to see Sky put more effort into their production and put an offer in front of Andrew Voss and get him pushing the game with a better media TV product. It’s amazing how key the presenters are, but the commentator job is critical.
I'm really suited for the women's game, the extra exposure should see an increase in playing numbers and hopefully more teams. It's a great success story and will improve our player and spectator numbers
