When was that, I don’t remember him saving a try? He also missed a tackle on Stanley which led to him getting sin binned and Toronto then scoring the next play.

It was the tackle just before he got sin binned. Yes I too was a flaking arms missed tackle too. I think he's a work in progress. That's my humble opinion pal.

Incidentally, we were nearly in need of Aaron Smith again, when Hood got injured in the pre-match warm up. Apparently Tom Spencer stood on him - clumsy so-and-so!

    Richardson got MoM.

Fages had an indifferent game at Hudds. Defence great but kicking patchy.

Fages still first choice and been great but another patchy game
and you feel Richardson will get a go.

Fages, coote and Lomax looks like a balanced spine , just none of them are a
    goal kicker.

If Percival was an 80%+ kicker then richardson's case would not be as strong.

The oppo were crap , take Scott Moore out of that side and they're going down , Scott never let himself down = he only spent 10 minutes in the bin for an absolute shocker that Leigh scored off . However got to say regardless off the oppo Richardson was in and the creator of almost all of the points Leigh scored, he never missed a tackle and missed just one kick = the last conversion of the game . Bentley was superb his defense was head and shoulders above what was expected , he scored 2 with his first showing great footwork with his inners and outers he had a really good game . Smith only had about 30 minutes in the game did nothing wrong whatsoever, still cant understand why he was taken off , the Leigh fans love him. Douglas again did the business = bosses the middles and is a great asset to Leigh. Just to finish with Richardson was voted MOM which he was by more than a country mile, if Fages slips up it could take some doing to get past this lad , his game his ATTITUDE was spot on . I know it was only Rochdale , but you couldn't have asked any more from the lad , PS thier pitch looks far better than ours.

I'm not so sure, he may have been patchy, but we racked up some points..

Holbrook very rarely changes his team barring injuries

The big thing that Theo brings to the side that Richardson doesn’t apart from being a better defender is his willingness to take the ball right up to the defensive line and taking shots for his troubles. This creates gaps for us to exploit out wide.

yes I would think its a tough act for Richardson to get in. One thing we have been poor at though is in the goal kicking department. So must be a consideration at some point.

And currently decision making, Richardsons can be poor at times, I'm sure time at Leigh will improve his game no end

Richardson is not a bad option to come into the Saints team is he if needed ? Also he trains with you till every Thursday, so will be used to your 'way of playing/planned moves etc...' Although our last 2 games have been against weaker opposition, he's been excellent in each one....

There is an argument for having Fages or Richardson on the bench occasionally so they could spell Roby or Lomax.
It's a long hard season and we'll need the two of them fit for the business end of the season

I'm assuming we won't be able to use any of your players in this weeks challenge cup game at Sheffield, even your squad numbers 26-30 which I assume are young lads, who have yet to play for the 1st team.

Easter weekend might also be an issue with us having two games.

Would the fact they played for Leigh in an earlier round mean they would be unable to play for us in a later round if required?

I should imagine Holbrook will do some rotation during and after the Easter Program.

I'd imagine they would be cup tied if they played for Leigh?

Not sure what you mean with the league game comment Basically do you think there are any Squad players Holbrook would be okay with him not being able to use in the challenge cup, because they will be cup tied already having played for Leigh ?

Pity about Swift, as our left winger Stefan Marsh is about as quick as Apollo Perelini would be now !
