    I doubt if I could name seven St Helens schools let alone RL 'authors', but only seven seems quite a low number for any school, given the number of different ways that you said a writer could 'qualify' (books, mag articles, fanzines etc in your other post).

    Default The Knowsley Road School Seven named.

    Over the years it was Knowsley Road Junior School that produced the highest number of pupils who later went on to write about Rugby League.
    In alphabetical order their names are: Ray French, Ray Gent, Roger Grime, Phil Howard, Geoff Lee, Alex Service and Alan Tucker.
