I'm sure if he reverts to his old [illegal ] style, the RFL will turn a blind eye as it's jammy Leeds.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in SL. Whilst his defence isn't the best as has been pointed out, with ball in hand and after building up a head of steam, he can be hard to stop as you say Chief and I wouldn't want to tackle him. I also remember the run that Brook is referring to, when he broke an opponents jaw, lifting his knee to fend him off.

I believe Salford have made a new signing today too, Ken Sio. I think he will be a good signing for them as well.

Watching Australia v Tonga at the moment.

Hurrell hasn’t made the team, Lolohea looks about 2 stone overweight.

I think they did just that with Craig Smith the Aussie who signed for the Goons, didn't he break someones jaw with his knees might have been a saints player.

Got a feeling it was his knee that pretty much finished John stankevitch's career

Yes, that was the incident, I think Stankevitch tried to take him to court before Smith escaped under the Australian cover.

Lolohea has to be one of the laziest players around, which the Tigers found out pretty quickly when they signed him. No wonder they dropped him even when the team was struggling.
Hurrell will give Leeds a bit more attacking threat but it wont take SL teams long to work out his defence is awful and start throwing numbers down his side knowing his game reading is poor.

Do you mean the Manly Prop Taupau ?
If so, can't see him leaving Manly, and even if he did he would have massive offers from most of the other NRL teams

Saw that last night, would be an incredible signing but would surely take a ridiculous amount of money. Don’t know how Golding got a 5 year deal, dreadful player and is Parcell being released because he wants to leave or because they don’t want him?

And to think of all the s*** we got for Barba, looks like Leeds have lost their new coach before he has even stepped foot in the country

That would scupper their plans a little.

Seibold did a great job last year I would be amazed if they got rid

    Edit.

I've just read this has all come about as Seibold is stalling on a new deal.

    Always liked Parcell.
He could be a great signing for a SL club if he ends up leaving Leeds.

    He never came
    Furner never came.

Thats if he isn't coming. I haven't seen the supposed second statement.

Seems this is a dead issue now that Bennett has gone to Souths.

I'd be very surprised if Leeds could convince Taupau to come over here at this stage in his career. He's a brilliant forward and would be in high demand across the NRL.

The rumour with a little more substance that I've read about, is the offer for Trent Merrin.

    Regards,

    STEVO

Good player Merrin. Since switching to the front row this season he's got back to the form he was showing a few years back.
I'd certainly have Merrin over Douglas or Amor anyday
