I’d keep him, unless James Graham fancies coming back. Thompson, Walmsley, LMS, Ashworth and Lees are very similar players, high energy for short periods (Thompson differs slightly but I still like a bit more of a split). Douglas and Amor are needed to balance that up a bit for me. Think we saw that against Warrington the other week where we just lacked push in the second half when the front rowers were having a breather, particularly here where the 13 is an extra ball player. There are better players at filling that role but unless we’re replacing him with a prop in that catagory, I’d keep him.

At a mid-season forum, Gardner was talking about his post-rugby career and mentioned that he was near to finishing his studies. Perhaps his departure is the consequence of him now being fully qualified and Jon Clarke’s departure from Warrington rather than Saints getting rid.
Gardner has given me some of the greatest sporting moments of my life
There’s nothing sinister at play.
Gardner has gone on a promotion therefore more money and status and Lolesi has gone back to work in his parents family business.

Supposedly Wire to announce AG to Wire after the internationals. Replacement for Clark who is to join England. Coming to Wire AG must see it's a route to further his career.
;-)
Always liked Gardner, even when the fans got on his back. Very loyal to the club in more ways than one, remember the incident in the Bar Continental at Barrow in Furness took a snooker ball to the eye after some chavs started to cause trouble about the Saints Club. He played with that eye injury, that was the period he was dropping the high kicks to him, but he battled through it.
It's always a wrench uprooting and moving to accommodate your employment hope he doesn't get homesick.
On the Back foot looking for the front one.
Won’t find many more dedicated players than him. Always be remembered for the WCC try.

I think that one is remembered because of the significance of the game. I remember him scoring similar tries in games were we were getting beat, and other tries were he just literally threw himself over the top of the last defender those efforts inspiring the rest of the team. Good luck to him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back at some time in his career.
I used to wince when his head snapped back when he met with the defensive wall.
What used to infuriate me was his apparent reluctance to pin his ears back and just run. He was rapid earlier in his career, but as he got into his mid-20's seemed less keen to, er, open his legs and show his class (to quote the late David Coleman), instead coming inside and taking the tackle (notwithstanding that this may have been coach's instruction).
Good luck Ade, a few changes are afoot at the club.
He split opinion a little bit in his time, but he’d walk into any SL team now
