Carl Forster (Whitehaven's Player/Coach) said "Gutted to lose him but what a player he has been for our club! Wish him all the best!
This season just gets harder and harder 😩"

It makes sense, if he's been doing well there we need to see how he goes at the top level so we can see where he fits in for next season
Strange one as I can't see him getting a run this season. Was only a week or two back there was an interview with him and Eaves saying how they were enjoying their time at Haven so much.
Early planning by Saints in case we get to Wembley I guess. Holbrook has played full strength teams so far but certainly dont expect him to do so the week before a cup final.
We clearly nursed him through the game. But him popping up in the right position like he did on the first try is something we were desperately missing vs Wigan.
Lots of “he’s disinterested” talk on social media, but I think a combination of avoiding becoming too predictable in attack coupled with getting him through the game is what I’m seeing.
He certainly seemed to care as Richardson’s goal flew over
As was explained to me last night the player has been recalled before Fridays deadline so we can use him if we need to in the super 8’s.
Re the Barba ‘walk’. He has an unusual walking style and during games he appears knackered and injured. Most of the time it is just his natural gait.
Humans are more concerned with having than being.
In the second half I noticed that Barba just gave himself up in the tackle and seemed to just go down and John Wilkin waiting for him to play the ball seemed to give a look of What the hells he playing at.Did anyone see this?
I’m not. I was just thinking as he gave himself up in the tackle is he carrying an injury that he can’t shake off as some on here have said he doesn’t look right.
He is almost back healed now, he has/had a broken bone and didn't play because of it. He's had a few weeks off so just needs the game time to get up to speed again. He'll be back to 100% soon enough.
Oh right, fair enough
The likelihood is that first place will be wrapped up early in the super 8’s so there’ll be a chance to give every player a couple of games rest here and there. It’ll be good to see our young players given a chance to come into a highly confident team in a low pressure situation.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
