You only get the second kick in front of the posts if you are fouled in the act of scoring (as with Newman’s try when he was hit by Sims). If you score a try having been obstructed, and a penalty try would otherwise have been given had you failed to reach and ground the ball, then the conversion is taken in line with where the touchdown was and a second kick in front of the posts is not given (as was the case with Handley’s try when Yaha tackled him early but he still grounded the ball).
