Naiqama announced followed by a 1 year extension (until 2020) for Barba would do nicely please and thank you

Assume we ran up Moon and Gildarts price to clear competition to make this happening

My My now that would be quite something. I imagine he's Morgan's replacement and the thought of him and Percival in the centres is quite frightening.

Replacement for Morgan I would assume which I’d be happy with.

Can’t see him been a replacement for Barba. He’s not a fullback.

He's played Full Back a number of times for Wests I remember watching him play there. Granted it's not his preferred spot but he's a versatile bloke and very quick.

Wonder if this is why he wasnt selected for Tigers at weekend ? Wasnt injured as far as I could tell ( I'm based in NZ and am in the midst of a big workplace NRL tipping comp so following squad announcements carefully!)

As much as I like Morgan, if we got Naiqama it would definitely be an upgrade. He doesn’t strike me as someone who would come over just for a pay day either, he’s possibly the most passionate man I’ve seen play rugby when he was playing for Fiji in the World Cup. Great signing if we can pull it off

    Here here.
Certainly wouldn’t describe him as a ‘like for like’ replacement with Barba. Could only see him at centre with Lomax going to fullback if Barba leaves.

Hopefully Barba stays though and Naiqama comes in for Morgan.

I much preferred being linked to fringe players from Widnes and Salford

The air of excitement round the club is so alien to us, we crave a return to normality and the grind

Me too. Was hoping we'd taken a chance on Kris Welham and Liam Finn for next year.

Nice to have the old rumours, but would be nice if this could have been kept quiet until (if) it was a done deal. It’s more professional IMO.

Cleary said his omission wasn't disciplinary but didn't go any further. The Tigers have also signed the guy from Manly as well so it does make you wonder if this story has legs

Makes no sense to stand him down for a random game this week just because he may be signing elsewhere. Unless of course he will be a coming effective immediately

That would be good. Surely we’d have to loan out one of our big earners to accommodate.

This would be an amazing signing. Imagine keeping Barba too. What a time to be a saints fan.
