    Default U19s v Hull

Don't know if anyone else watched the game on Friday but was a tough one.

Ended 14 all with Saints being down to 12 men at one stage.

The ref was very strange and didn't seem to recognise people lying in the ruck!

Some good young players on show on both sides and I know this is the time of year that some of them get signed up for the future or let go.

Watching over the season who do people think we should keep? I think the pack is strong and hope Eaves, Follin, Hazard, Lewtas and Wheldon get offered a contract. In the backs, Brown and Fairclough look decent.

    What do others think?

    Default U19's v Hull

I think that Eaves, Lees, and Fairclough are already in the 1st team squad and are likely to be given contracts for next year.
Of the other players I think that Lewtas and Costello stand out

    Is Fairclough the scrum half?

Fairclough is also coming back after a serious injury so it will take him a bit to get back to his best.

Re the ref. Not wanting to be to negative, but if that is the standard coming through then we are really doomed. He was shocking.
Humans are more concerned with having than being.

I did see some of it and wish I had the resolve to see more. Two well matched, committed teams and always enjoyable to watch . I may have not seen enough to comment on the referee's performance.
