I thought it was one of our better performances this season. We zipped the ball about quite well considering the conditions. We looked dangerous when we shifted the ball laterally and strong when we ran it more up the middle. Roby had one of his better games distributing the ball. Our forwrds really got us on the front foot giving him room from dummy half.
Our young forwards started the game well for us. Ive been a critic of Thompsons but he's looked good under Holbrook so maybe i was wrong about him.
We still squander scoring opportunities but instead of being miles away from scoring points like we were under Cunningham, lately we seem to be just that final pass off finishing scores off.
We just need a bit of fine tuning. We seem to be finding that fine line between playing grind percentages rugby and actually being able to play it a bit open too. Its a fine line but we're getting closer to it IMO.
I actually thought their were some encouraging signs last night.

Peyroux's slide over under the sticks where he dropped it... Griffin slammed into his back with both knees, and not just into his ribs either, it was right into his spine. Just watched on my recording, it was as I suspected. Should be on report for that but won't get a mention.
