I have already taken to Justin, the enthusiasm and passion he shows is a true breath of fresh air. If his coaching ability is comparable then we have got a diamond. I have seen the post match interview, you would have thought he was born in St Helens. Good luck Justin and bring in something for the trophy cabinet.

One thing for sure is we definitely need some positivity in this club, our negative tactics and "looking for excuses" quotes from KC over the past few years has had a big effect on our players in my opinion. If he can get the players thinking in a better frame of mind it can only be good.

You can see he already has a passion by his reaction to Percy's winning try. You'd think he was a fan not the coach.

quite a few people saying very Milward esc. Fantastic to see a coach just as passionate about the team as the fans are.

To be fair you did see Cunningham jump up and punch the air occasionally, although that was usually because we'd grinded out 5 tackles in spectacularly dull fashion........

But yeah, Holbrook done everything right so far and looks a great acquisition.

Ok it's great to see some passion in a coach and excitement when we score, but I never doubted KC's passion for Saints and his desire for us to win. Some people just don't jump around others do.

Obviously this Cas away game is a big test, could have done with a few other games with Holbrook before we had to face them but you never know with Saints we may pull it off.

Well the next 8 games are

    Cas (A)
    Widnes (H)
    Hudds (A)
    Salford (H)
    Leeds (A)
    Hull (H)
    Catalan (H)
    Wakefield (A)

Out of all of them realistically how well do people think we will do? personally i feel maybe 5-6 of them we should win. The hardest of the lot will be Cas this Friday with then Leeds away.

Get Cas out of the way and we should do the rest, but knowing Saints we'll beat Cas and Leeds away then lose at Huddersfield and Wakefield. :-/

Maybe she is and maybe she isn't. It's hard to tell at times

There's 8 winnable games there if we play with the attitude of the last two games.

I watched the Wigan game on Friday with no fear or trepidation.

I felt confident, even when we were behind.

I was up out of my seat as soon as That ball left Smiths boot.....

Cas is next Sunday, which gives JH a bit more time to assess and refine things. They weren't great against Widnes last night, but that may have been down to complacency. Not sure we can expect to win there, but a much improved performance from the CC match would be an indicator of what we might expect.

To be honest, if Cas finish 10 points clear at the top of the league it wouldn't worry me, as they haven't proved in the past that they can handle the pressure and expectation of play off rugby.

Leeds away will be a big test - win that and we can start to feel as confident as Phil Clarke!

Not sure how we will go against the two you have highlighted, but we are capable of winning the rest.
