He did quite a bit of coaching with Wigan Scholarship U15/U16's
Just Rogues way of saying that Smith has previous coaching experience.
Pretty good set up down at Pilks now it seems
Fair play, at least he is putting something back into the sport. We still need another running half back.
No Amsterdam dan he is not fair game, that man has done rugby league missionary work in Millwall and the good people of Lewisham especially Harry the dog are eternally grateful. Rogues is also well known at the gates of the ex Orrell/Wigan academy sharing many happy hours with purple akkie discussing how the training methods employed by the resident ape makes biceps bulge in a matter of months. RL needs more people of this calibre and he should be encouraged on this site daily if not hourly.
It had quite an effect Ralph. A sell out crowd of 20K with many thousands locked out and like the Olympics it left a lasting legacy. To answer a PM, Harry the dog was the most famous of all Millwall fans and in the early eighties with 4 chums made an unsuccessful attempt to take the home end at Bristol Rovers. On meeting Rogues and watching the mighty Wigan rugby Harry now sports a mecca bingo Wigan replica jersey spreading the gospel according to Lennaghan to displaced individuals from the jungle in Calais who now find themselves catapulted to Lewisham, Wigan rugby its the future.
Good point, well made, A.D
I think we can safely say Brian ALA Rogues is in a league of his own. The man is like Mrs Mills the way he tinkles the ivories of his keyboard like a grand piano waiting to educate the great unwashed who support the red vee, and any other sporting fans who have not seen the strategy of losing the family silver then paying rent to hire some back, its the future!
You on about the Wigan football stadium ?
