    Default Farges to start

Would the red vee army start with Farges next week allowing Turner to partner Percy in the centres. This would allow Swift and either Owens or Shannon on the other flank.

I have not hammered Peyroux to be honest but last night he actually looked a liability. Strange for a Saints fan but I hope it throws it down on Friday.

Firstly why do you want it to rain on Friday? Farges definitely not in a semi final, i think he has a major mistake in him at the moment..

Not arsed tbh about the weather but rain would benefit us as it would lower their offloads and reduce their off the cuff rugby.

Not sure if he is going to be in the 17 against Warrington, with Percival still good for go next week and Swifty back I think Turner will operate back at 6 with Walsh. We lost a bit of balance in the backline last night and just kept running down the middle channel, can't see Fages fitting in at the moment when most of our players are back.

Quite correct. If Percy does not get a reaction to his injury then no Fages. Personally I would prefer Fleming & Percival at Centre. Far more solid defensively.

Percy seemed very happy, smiling away after the match in his tracksuit so all seems good.

For me, too late in the day to throw fages in, I've no doubt the team will be (as I've said on another thread)

Lomax, Owens, The Dominator, Percy, Swift
    Turner, Walsh
Amor, Roby, Richards, Wilkin, Greenwood, LMS

    Knowles, Vea, Thompson, Walmsley

And that's good enough to beat anybody, no excuses

I think that it could be improved by putting Fleming in. Very appropriate nickname for the fans favourite.

Swap Walmsley to starting prop for Amor and that's how I see him going

Is Farges related to Marty? Seems to be a lot of unneccessary 'r's about at the moment.

Do we have enough depth in the pack to play one of our second rowers at right centre?? I really have no faith in Peyroux.

If we mentioned LMS Fishy we would be banned but except for mixing Thursday with Friday Peyroux was the gist of my opening post. He frightened me Friday with his options I only thought of him as average but he is below that. If Turner stays at six, do we look at Fleming or would Kez consider throwing the dice with Knowles. He has some pace and good hands with an eye for a gap and on defence he is solid.

By the way I hope it does rain Friday, nothing like getting a soaking round Marsh Green or for Barry looking through the window of one of Duke Streets finest hostelries watching his favourites.

Im not sure what the best option is Furlongs but all i know is im not keen on Peyroux. We have an abundance of back rowers. Surely one can play centre.
EDIT: or Matty Fleming back to right centre. Anything other than Peyroux

Put Fages with Walsh, and kick Wire around the park. Hope our pack turn up, it's going to be a tough one.

My only concern is Peyroux. Tony Smith will have been watching his defensive howlers against Cas and Wakey and will target his defence as he shoots out of the line.

It's clear nobody has faith in Peyroux outside of the coaching staff. For me they have two options which are both better than the current line-up.
Either Fages at 6 and Turner at centre or just replace Peyroux with Fleming and keep Turner where he is.
I'd be happy with either of those options over Peyroux.

I would go with Fleming. Turnstile's defence is only a little better than Peyroux's
