But Cunningham has genuine concerns for someone like Walsh playing on that surface then it really isn't worth it at this stage of the season.
I suppose it's possible that the surface might cause issues for players who aren't used to playing on it - those players might instinctively/subconsciously be reluctant to land on their knees and elbows, and end up putting their bodies in more vulnerable positions as a result. Or maybe it's just gubbins.
