    Default Disciplinary

Any chance we can get Wigan's luck?

Walsh sin bin sufficient. He didn't drive the player to the ground and he landed on the top of his back.

Thompson didn't make contact with the head with his shoulder so should be OK.

More worried about Percival than anything.

I genuinely believe both incidents shouldn't get bans, Walsh's wasn't even as bad as Tautais on the Derby, and Thompson made no contact with the head

Should be ok. Walsh's was bad technique but player landed square on his back and I thought the yellow was more than enough punishment.

Thompsons was a shoulder charge but clash of heads was accidental and the player landed awkwardly more than anything.

Depends on what mood the disciplinary is in though. The process is an absolute farce.

Don't know about the process being an absolute farce but the game certainly was .

True but Brian Carneys outspoken view could do us no good !

Nice of clarke and Carney to highlight it and say it deserves a ban

I think the same, there is zero consistency from the disciplinary committee and I fear we will cop bans, especially seeing who we're playing next

Our next oposition is the key here. Bound to be bans. Just can't see anything other than that.

I understand that Clarke suffered a career ending injury but his real motivation is to get us weakened for the Wigan game.

I agree with OP,,,Knowing the supposed "wisdom" of the RFL,think it will be a 1 game for both Thompson and Walsh.

Thompsons was made to look worse by the injury that followed in the tackle. Never any more than a penalty for a shoulder charge and there was plenty of them unpunished from both sides. Walsh again sin bin sufficient. Doesn't help with Stevo trying to over hype everything.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Sky are doing their best. We could struggle in the disciplinary this week.

Walsh is going to get at least 2 matches maybe more! Only because of the comments made by Carney, Stevo etc. Carney was furious highlighting it to the watching viewers

I don't think we could argue about 1 match for Walsh, maybe the yellow card may help him avoid a ban, otherwise he would definitely be banned.

Edit: In fact, I think Walsh may have an early guilty plea, so he should be free to play.

The commentary was disgraceful tonight. From minute one the thinly veiled bias gave way to full on Catalan support. The number of times they mentioned Broughton being off and ignoring Percival was nothing short of infuriating!

Being at the game and not having to listen to the hubris/drivel on Sky I thought Walsh was unlucky to get 10 minutes, penalty was sufficient. Once the clowns from Sky try to skew opinion people are talking about 1-2 games. Just shows the influence our idiot broadcaster has.

Does the fact that the ref gave a yellow and not a red mean that he has dealt with it on the field? He had the touch judges and the video ref they all decided yellow. Walsh shouldn't be banned but he probably will and Thompson deffo will be.

Given the amount of ex-Wiganers on the panel when one of theirs is up I think it's only fair the panel this week be Keiron Cunningham, Sean Long and Paul Wellens. Longy's been at Wigan so you can't argue any bias.
