First time this season I don't think there was a single bad performance.
Thomson Roby and Greenwood obvious choices but I thought Wilkin's kicking was generally excellent.
Both edges in defence were superb and our 'middles' won their battle.
Big fan of Morgan Knowles as well, he is going to be some player.

"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............
Greenwood (he did the full 80 didn't he?)
Percival
Roby
This result was a total team performance and deserves a team of the match award.
Pleased for Owens, who again played well.
LMS showed great restraint when punched and as a team we did not stoop to their dirty tactics. We played tough but did not overreact to anything, which infuriated them the longer the game wore on. Robes try was a great 'salt rubber' to end a great game. Also great tactics in popping over a drop goal to break their hearts (do they have them) knowing it needed three scores. The game was won there.
Credit to the team and the coaches. Regardless of how Catalans do tomorrow we have put a marker down and no one will want to play us now.

Everyone played their part.Good stuff.
Learned comment from The Don
I couldn't pick either. Played as a team, defended together and worked with and for each other. Fleming and Knowles looked like seasoned pros! Owens and Greenwood made try saving tackles and Tommo ripped it up! Thrilled at the prospect of watching these young lads flourish!
Greenwood
Lomax
Amor
Very tough this one. Greenwood was a monster and reached the 40 tackles mark. Lomax oozes class, I think had we had him available and firing last year we might have reached a final. Thompson and Knowles were both immense again. Percival, Walsh and Wilkin very good too.
Honorable mentions to Tomkins and Sarginson.
Greenwood

Walsh
Really difficult to choose
Roby

Walsh
Give credit where it is due Owens had a great game.
Jordan Turner deserves a mention too, because whilst he isn't the most natural half back, he will always run the ball and take on the line. His game compliments Walsh's quite well.
Overall a great victory for St Helens and thoroughly deserved.

STEVO
Can't pick anyone out so I'll go
