Ratboy should have been off in first half. He is just an nrl reject.

He was poor tonight in every discipline. Sky must have been sick.

He did not look great tonight if I am honest, but I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Looks a shadow of the player he was before his NRL stint. Maybe he's still working back up to 100% after his move and injury, maybe not. The fact is he was targetted by Saints and really struggled. If Meninga and Kearney were watching tonight they'll have made more than a few notes ahead of the 4 nations.

His knee problems are catching up with him. He can't side step like he used to and he's lost a yard of pace.

Do you think he'll get a game based on his current performance?

Probably. I can't see who they're going to pick instead. If Hardaker finishes the season well then maybe.

    bly. I can't see who

Jamie Shaul, if Hull win GF. Anyhoo little Sammy played a blinder tonight, do think he could have appealed a little harder/better 3 times during one tackle/play of the ball for a penalty?!

On current form you'd go for Shaul or even Lomax. The first squad announcement will be a big indicator of how much influence reputation has over form in Bennett's selection policy.

Tomkins had a poor game (his first since his return), Williams and Smith were equally as poor if not worse and Sam Powell's distribution from dummy half was terrible.

Saints were excellent without the ball, they put their bodies on the line and Walsh's tackle on Isa was a massive game changer. Massive reality check for me today, never seen a Wigan side so poor with the ball. We didn't have a clue from minute one bar putting grubber kicks in on the 2nd and 3rd tackles. The sooner Gelling is back and Sarginson can be binned off the better.

If we play like that next week we haven't a prayer of reaching Wembley although I just dont see us playing as poorly two weeks running.

Don't want Lomax involved yet, rather him have a full off season with the club
