    Default New SL Coach

    Interesting article from Carney.
Anyone know anything about this guy. Is he someone else we will miss out on?

I wonder if anyone had those type of things to say about KC as a coach before we appointed him.

The Panthers have THE best junior system in the NRL by a long way. When Gus Gould returned to the club 5 years ago his primary goal was to ensure Penrith have the best juniors and the club invested heavily in this side of things. Their 1st team probably suffered as a consequence but their juniors started to thrive to the point now that they're miles ahead of most other clubs both on and off the field.

In some respects there are a lot of similarities between Penrith & Saints with their junior development, but the main difference currently is that Penrith know how to take these kids and seamlessly move them into the 1st team. Our coaches just want to wait until they've each put on 20Kg and are big enough to play prop and wing

Sounds like they are setting him up for a SL gig to me. Definately not Saints, KC is clearly going nowhere. I'd imagine Leeds would be his destination if Uncle Gary gets fed up with Brian Mac.

Reading an interview on love rugby league this morning KC said he's doesn't read social media and wouldn't know how if he fell over it! He said he's old school and it doesn't bother him one bit.
