Bites the dust.Giants taking action?
Learned comment from The Don
Strange timing, especially after the tragic news of Ronan passing this week and also announcing the signing of Symonds
It will be interesting to see who steps in

And their assistant coach will be at Leigh next year. Steve Mac perhaps?
Just shows how bad we are after the hammering they gave us at Newcastle.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower.
Might have been written by a footballer about football - but never a truer word............
They felt it needed to be done and did it. It's quite simple when you know how. Clearly Huddersfield won't accept mediocrity but we will.

Just shows how you only need to be slightly off your game to find yourself in trouble. I can't really recall any team giving Huddersfield a proper pasting this year. They've lost most of their games by small margins. They are the best team of the bottom 4 imo
screaming in the family corner, scaring the kiddies
This may push saints into action!
KC will be out, they will bring Anderson in. Swap 1 failing coach for another and call it progress.
One place but probably 8-10 points off 4th and absolutely no chance of making the play offs. Am I right in thinking Saints haven't ever not made the play offs in the super league era? And for this year to be the first in such a poor standard of super league is unacceptable.
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.
It seems Anderson wasn't as lucky as Cunningham made him out to be. Perhaps KC should buy a lottery ticket.

I think he is worth a punt. I don't think he is one for reputations and would sort the wheat from he chaff.
Get him onboard!
It's been 31 years, since 1974, we last won a major (trophy and) Andrew Johns and Natty (Nathan Wood), our two oldest players were born in 1974 so it's a little bit spooky,
There is a common trait in teams at this point in the season that they seem to sit back and wait for somebody to win the game for them. And we had too many of our players waiting for someone to win the game.
"interfacing at the ruck"
"winning the go-forward"
"i thought we won the collision"
Overall he's done very well with very limited resources at Huddersfield. I wouldn't object to him at Saints.

I think a lot of him as a coach, but I think the current situation, he would struggle.

Anderson and spaceman Purtill at Saints never. No better than what we have.
Absolutely not.
Purtill was assistant to Royce Simmons and Potter before him, he left with when RS was sacked.
He was already set to join Leigh at the end of this season in an assistant role.

As previously said at least Ken Davey has acted. Us as Saints shouldn't be languishing in 5th place, we should be in top 1,2 or 3 but are having a dreadful season which us fans are having to endure poor rugby and a inept coach.
