I find it hard to cheer on any team with that oxygen-thief Hock in it.

Hopefully the Dr will have a happy victory in court as the sideshow to this

“It's been 31 years, since 1974, we last won a major (trophy and) Andrew Johns and Natty (Nathan Wood), our two oldest players were born in 1974 so it's a little bit spooky,”

There is a common trait in teams at this point in the season that they seem to sit back and wait for somebody to win the game for them. And we had too many of our players waiting for someone to win the game.”

    "interfacing at the ruck"

    "winning the go-forward"

"i thought we won the collision"

I have no sympathy . His over inflated ego always leaves me with a wry smile on my face when situations backfire on him.

I was distinctly unipressed with both.
Brierly is another Richie Myler - good support player but created next to nothing in attack. Most of Leigh's plays centred around Ridyard not Brierley
Armstrong was caught out a few times in defence and a better team than Salford would have punished them with Try's. Also in attack he panicked a few times he was in space and was lucky to get away with some loose passes.

The kids a good finisher no doubt. His decision making his a long way short as of now.
I mean by that unless it's not a straight Sprint he doesn't quite know what option to take.
His finishing can't be judged in that league but Swifts can in super league.
Swift has problems in defence granted but I seen nothing in this lad to say he looked any better.
Basically I'm taking pedigree which I think will improve over potential.

My view also regarding both players neither of whom I would consider better than what we have already. Those bemoaning the loss of Armstrong should also remember that it was his choice to leave because he didn't want to be full time at that point in his career.

Exciting but he's short in a few departments too.
You must be joking. He is a quality finisher, I watchi him week in week out and he has pace, can catch the high ball and can finish. I'd have him over Swift any day!

Swift is a quality finisher and at a higher level. Swift having a bad patch but I'm sticking by the fact he's a better player.
He hasn't had much chance to show his attacking ability because of injuries in the side.
World a difference between the opposition these players are performing against each week.
