Wonder if Jones is injured. Here's hoping we start with Wilko in the pack and Swift on the wing with Dawson on the bench. COYS

    It's nice to hope but if we're sticking to our usual ploy our 1-6 will be something like this;

    Lomax
    Makinson
    Turner
    Percival
    Swift
    Burns
    Wilkin

Walsh still isn't ready, even if he was I wouldn't let him start it off in a friendly against the head hunters that's for sure. I'd imagine the other two have little niggles

I totally agree about Walsh, give him 40mins next week against Rochdale and ease him in gently.

Jones has now appearedin the squad list (must have been a typo). Glad to see it. Walsh may not make the start of the season according to Sporting Life interview with KC

Good feature on SSN just with Fraser Dainton. Both sets of players are having a coffee at Wilkin and Flanagans Pot Kettle Black shop in Manchester. Wane and Rush were interviewed and say they get on really well, huge respect etc. To be fair to Wane he came across well and was full of praise for Keiron

I think they all get on well generally. I've always felt that Wane's prematch rhetoric is for show. I don't buy any of it, personally.

I certainly saw a different side of him then. Watch it later and see what you think, no doubt it will be repeated through the day. He clearly has a hell of a lot of time for KC.

I've just had a look, mate. Not up yet but I'd expect it to be later on.

I thought the interviewer really tried to lead Wayne over Flower being demonized, but fair play to him for the way he answered it.

Just watched that, good piece and the way it should be

Although I hate them for 80 minutes when we play I always have a good craic drinking with the Wigan fans before and after the game. Despite what others think on here they are not that different from us (well most of them anyway)

Nice little piece. Clear angle from Sky emphasising that RL isn't a maniacal sport where everyone hates one another though.

Get the impression Wane has been told to tone it down as well. Very different from the usual stuff.

    Good little watch though.

SKY are really promoting Rugby League as a family sport this season, they always have to be fair, but they see it as a real marketing point for the game as do the RFL. Mr Wane is following the party line plain and simple.

Totally agree, this has come from the top to show a united front and Wane must have had his warning to cool it, only a few month ago he was ranting on he hated us and called us them! Definite change in stance, for The time being anyway. KC does get on well with Wane so there will be no repeat of Brown throwing in a few hand grenades !!!

I'm not sure I buy it to be honest. Wane hates us and no amount of SKY propaganda will make me believe any different.

I believe Shaun Wane may have a dressing down from Lenegan, and we may not hear as may of Wane's "ah ate um" style interviews this years. It was a bit staged, but good of Sky to try and promote the positives of our sport though ahead of the new season.
