Never thought he was a top prop but surprised going to a Championship side.
Thought he was OK as a bit of a workhorse.

To be honest I thought his best years where the last three or four. In his early years he was always prone to errors. He seemed to get over that and has given Wires good service and also he is a big unit who has played well against Saints lately. Good signing for an ambitious Featherstone.
He is 33 so perhaps it is a good fit for both, I think Fev may trail Leigh and the Bulls this term. London will either be up with the top dogs or will start to fade away to oblivion.
Bit of a parting dig it seems by old cheesy face Smith though. Wonder if there was an exchange of view points prior to him leaving?
There is an exciting time ahead with the new staff, players and improvement of training facilities, therefore we require everyone to be 100% committed to the Warrington cause. We wish Paul and his family all the best for the future.”
He hasnt got the balls for playing anymore !
It seemed in the Warrington Guardian that Paul requested to go. Probably 4th choice prop there but I reckon he would have got plenty of game time. Seem to remember he had some personal problems last year. Think he will give Featherstone a good platform provided he keep injury free. Think I read he only played 9 games last year.
Think he would have been a better investment for Leigh than Fui Fui.
