    Paul is a true Saint he has always put 100% into his performances but who can ever question his emotion and love for our great club, a superb player a true ambassador for the club but above all ( as someone has said earlier ) he is a Saints fan through and through, great to hear him say at the end that was for the fans, 5 years of pain but last night wiped all that pain away. Thanks Paul Wellens you are a god

    Im over in Australia and it wasn't shown on 9 network so ive still not been able to watch it and I really want toooo

    And many been clamouring for his retirement for the last 4 years tut tut. Too slow ? He seemed like an exocet off the 10 yards to get steaming into Flower. There should always be a place at st helens for this club legend.

    Happy to see him get another year as long as it's not holding back the development of other players. If injuries strike then fair enough.
