Bowen is frightened of his own shadow.....more offloads to his wingers who drop back with him than any other player in Super League......will not take the ball up!!!

I hope we smash him and Charnley!!

i think we should pepper their back three. charnley isn't half the player he was 18 months ago, burgess is a good finisher but defense is poor and bowen is good for one or two errors

Charnley is averaging over a try per game, Burgess misses less tackles than Makinson or Swift and Bowen has carried the ball for over 2,500 metres (which is more than any Saints back). If Saints put the ball directly into their hands from kicks they'll punish you.

Thank you, much appreciated. I knew it would sink in eventually.

Now can we get back on topic please.

We'll just do what Leeds do and kick it dead every time. That should solve all the problems and keep the unstoppable trio away from us.

yes our players have flaws but being a saints supporter on a saints forum it makes sense to point out where wigan (IMO) are weak.
can you please p*** off spoiling everything by constantly defending wigan. if you want to be in the company of those who love everything wigan, p*** off to your forums please

Not being funny but who's actually got the time or the inclination to compare players match stats? Bowen has carried the ball more than any Saints backs....oh well chaps let's not go tomorrow.

I feel sorry for Souths if you win tomorrow. Those 3 will blow them away.

His misuse of stats is hysterical.

Full backs run for the most metres, and he thinks it's noteworthy bowen has made more metres than any back in a team which has played three full backs for spells due to injury.

You'd think someone his age would be a bit more clued up.

    Do they?
He is behind Sarginson, Gelling and Burgess at Wigan for metres made.

If you're in the Railway Club tomorrow come and have a chat, I'll buy you a beer.

    Bulls - gaskell top
    Cats - escare highest back
    Hull - shaul top
    Rovers - Eden highest back
    Widnes - Hanbury top
    Leeds - hardaker top
    Wire - russell top

Those teams where full backs aren't top tend to have missed a lot of games.

Lomax only played half a season and ran for 1700 so would certainly have covered 2500 had he played as often as bowen.

Ps - not sure where railway club is but if I find myself in there I'd be glad to share a beer!

Bowen only played six more games than Lomax (The play off games are not included)

The Railway Club is on Chester Road by the Vauxhall garage.

I'll pm you my mobile so if you're in there we'll have a beer and a chat.

If it's wet and it probably will be this tactic is a must.
