“It's been 31 years, since 1974, we last won a major (trophy and) Andrew Johns and Natty (Nathan Wood), our two oldest players were born in 1974 so it's a little bit spooky,”

There is a common trait in teams at this point in the season that they seem to sit back and wait for somebody to win the game for them. And we had too many of our players waiting for someone to win the game.”

The pubs down the Lane, well the one that is left will be filling up. The floodlights will have been cranked up "if the cable has not been nicked again" and the tiger mascot will be having his new head fitted.

Can they do it, possibly not but I cant wait to watch it and I am glad it is not us.

We lost to Warrington and Huddersfield....Last weeks result has no relevance whatsoever

Tis hardly inspiring from Warrington, and yes, Castleford look disjointed.

However, they are from out of it. Whoever wins this will provide little resistance in the Semis.

Been impressed with Wire's defence, both sides look slow though in attack

Bentham doesn't have the first clue how to police a ruck. It started on Cas' first tackle when Dorn made a half break, busted the tackle and landed on his front before Bentham proceeded to allow Hill to lie all over him. Shenton did the same before Bridge held on for seconds later on as well. He's letting Wire get away with murder in the tackle.

Powell has received loads of credit this season but I've got to say I'm far from convinced. Finn and Sneyd have done so well for them all season and yet last week he dropped Sneyd and this week it's Finn that isn't playing. Imagine the stick Brown would be taking if he was switching his halves at this stage of the year.

Huby showing his real worth tonight. Doesn't fancy the tough stuff whatsoever and is more interested in trying to play as a half throwing passes. I even saw him at dummy half where he threw a crap pass which Lynch dropped in Wire's 20. Needs to get back to what props are meant to do and put his team in a position to play. Not helping at all and is enormously overrated in my view.
