Great article, comes across really well. Especially like the part at the end when he talks about Saints and enjoying being a fan, plus the niggling desire to end his career at Saints. I hope that comes true, I really do!!
Good read, top class player and I'd love him to be still playing for us but I'm not sure I'd want him back at 31/32 after playing the minutes he has over the years.
I enjoyed that. I would have no issue with him finishing his career at saints. Maybe won't play as big minutes as he is now but one thing you'll get from James Graham is his all. Even at 32 I still think he'll be one if the best props around. He won't come for a payday, he'll come to play. The passion he has for the game and club are second to none.

Kevin ward was 32 when he signed . One of the best signings we ever made
Add Darren Britt to that list also, it's like saying you wouldn't have signed Jamie Peacock 4 years ago if he was available. If Graham wants to come back to Saints and he is fit and it isn't blocking the way of any good up and coming prop then I say we welcome him back home. Jammer has the ability to keep playing SL and play at a high standard up to his mid to late 30s. Surely it's better signing an actual prop to play prop than the 2nd rowers we've had the past few seasons (Laffranchi and Puletua).
Great read also. I always check the Canterbury Bulldogs fans page and not one person has a bad word to say about him. They hold him in such high regard and a lot of them are annoyed he that he doesn't seem to get as much recognition as the other forwards in the comp.
Interesting views and I suppose it would need to be evaluated at the time but paying top dollar for a prop with the amount of miles on the clock he will have would be a risk. For every Kevin Ward(a different era mind you) you have a Perry or even Scully who are physically knackered in the early 30's. I just wish he was playing in the redvee now instead of tripe like LMS
.
I'd be made up if we signed Peacock for next year!
As others have said the likes of Wardy, Britt, Fairleigh, Anderson all came at the back end of their careers and were fantastic signings. That said IF we still have Amor and Walmesley at that time they would probably be there or thereabouts at the peak of their careers, and if Thompson and Richards fulfil their potential and are still here it might not be the right thing for the club.
It would be fantastic to see him in the red vee again, but lots of water to pass under the bridge till then.

Just like graham it will be circumstancial for the club.
But it's nice to know he is still a fan.
I'd hope we would have found a leader by then though.
I would do many things to have him back at Saints
Good read...when I met him in Sydney after the 4 Nations finished it was pretty obvious that he was going to move to Oz the next year. Why not, he's having a great time!
Now how much is that signed one-off Bulldogs jersey from his first Australian game worth that I've got hanging on my wall?
