Limped off and ended the match in a boot. Not good according to Brown. Fingers crossed it isn't his season done.

I hope he isn,t bad also, but if he can,t playwe can always play another second row forward at half back, roll on Wilkin and Flanagan.
Wellens at 6
Wilkin at 7
McDonnell at 1
Do Saints not have a reserve team nowadays.
Walsh 7 Wheeler 6, done.
It's not (at least in my circle) you can stick a fork in wheeler, cos he's done. He isn't/ shouldn't be retained and his saints career is over after the 10,000,001st chance. Wilkin or hand a chance to an academy kid - wheeler is just pining for a possibility that never came to fruition.
That's coming from someone who has defended him year after year.
Lewis Charnock at 6 for me with Walsh at 7
It's been 31 years, since 1974, we last won a major (trophy and) Andrew Johns and Natty (Nathan Wood), our two oldest players were born in 1974 so it's a little bit spooky,
There is a common trait in teams at this point in the season that they seem to sit back and wait for somebody to win the game for them. And we had too many of our players waiting for someone to win the game.
"interfacing at the ruck"
"winning the go-forward"
"i thought we won the collision"
Will be disappointing if lance is out for a while. He's having a decent season and him and Walsh have played well together

Gary Wheeler- the floor is yours.
It really is now or never. Carpe diem. Don't die wandering. Don't let this chance slip through your grasp. Take on the line, step, create, kick. Show em just how good you are.
And whatever you do, don't get injured.
I hope Lance is ok. An ankle injury can be something or nothing. Saints could only confirm on Twitter that he's hurt his foot. I couldn't tell at the stadium whether he'd hurt his knee or his foot. He's been playing well and has made his presence count on the pitch. I do hope he's ok for next week.
Me as well but one can't deny that his injury record is pretty dire.
Nobody apart from the physios or doctors at saints or Gary himself knows how serious these injuries or knocks were.
But if hohaia is done for the season then I doubt he will get another chance like this. Up to him now and if selected ( and with a bit of luck or perhaps even a bit more toughness from himself) he has to do the business. The time for excuses has come and gone- provided he gets a chance that is.
There comes a point where you just have to go and do it.
Wheeler has only had half a dozen games in the halfs if that. But if he has a poor game he is dropped. I know plenty of players who have been also had a poor game one after another this season. And still managed to get picked

This is surely Wheelers chance to sink or swim , I think he can do it !

Pity tons of talent but cant stay injury free, would safe us afortune on the salary cap but can we take that chance with his previous history.
