    Sea Eagles vs Storm (Sat)
    Cowboys vs Raiders (Sat)

Was just about to post the same....

Looking forward to it too, first two games especially when the World Club Champions line up against the Bunny's and Benny Barba returns with the Bronco's to face his old club the Bulldogs.

Might get slaughtered for this. But I'm really looking forward to seeing the Warriors and how Tomkins and his skills will light them up. He is going to be a massive hit down there.

Why would you get slaughtered for it? He's a class act and will be a hit down there IMO.

Because, obviously unlike yourself, some Saints fans want anything Wigan related to fail.

He's no longer playing for the Pies so I hope he goes well and represents SL well just like Jammer & Burgess boys. We've had plenty of Wigan born great at Saints and we all get behind them, so as long as they're not playing in the cherry & white I'll give him a cheer

I bought Premier Sports for the world cup and then when I found out that the championship games where not going to be shown I cancelled it only to be persuaded to keep it for 3 months for the price of one, I am going to cancel again because I don,t know of any tv magazine that shows when Premier Sports is on and I cannot be mithered with keep looking on a computer to find out.

Rabbitoahs beat Roosters 28-8. Interesting campaign in store.

Some brilliant rugby was played this morning, it was a great game. When that lad Inglis fills out, he will be awesome.

I really hope you are correct on this one. The odds on THE Warriors going all the way this year have shortened due to the signings they have made, including Tomkins. For the sake of the reputation of the top Superleague players, he needs to stand out.

Crap attendance. To get only 27k in an 80k stadium for the season opening derby clash featuring last seasons 1st v 2nd is pretty poor. I bet Saints v Wigan could get more than that if we moved one of our clashes to season opener and played at Anfield or somewhere, bearing in mind we get 20k plus at the JJB
Forwards win games. The backs decide by how much.

Or how about 13,157 for a local derby for an opener, 2nd vs 5th on a Thursday night?

Think playing on a Wednesday night was a poor call from the nrl really. As you say, a disappointing attendance

Theirs was Thursday night as well. As much as Thursday night games are good for tv, they don't do a lot to get people through the door.

On The Footy Show on premier(Tomkins debut game on free to view on prem this wkend) last night, EVERY pundit on the show said they were looking forward to watching Tomkins go, hope he does, it will maintain the Jammer/Burgess' SL momentum but it may still take a few games while he gets used to the team, players and attention~they all want to stop him don't forget?
On the other hand, they may not be able to stop him, give him space...

Epalahame Lauaki signed for Manly. I know they're short at prop but didn't think they were that desperate?

I wrote a review of Sam Tomkins first match in the NRL for those that didn't get to see the game:

    http://www.leaguefreak.com/rating-sa...y-league-6811/

He showed a few good signs but also showed he has a long way to go to play at NRL level.

Any truth in James Graham turning down a contract extension at Canterbury? Is he Rabbitohs bound?
