    Default Travis Burns

travis burns....seems solid player, always passing well, likes to tackle but my god he is annoying. Always churping at officials or having an awful attempt at a scrap like last week. I will admit I am watching a sky plus of tonights game after mrs v and me have been to the local but i dont think the beer has blinkered me much, i think i just dont like him :-) If we get them in the playoffs he will be given some abuse!

'Solid' is a nice way of putting it.

Can you imagine Apollo letting a half carry that much fat?

I think he is a right little git.... but I would still probably have him at saints. Nice step, kicking game and very committed to the cause of causing havoc! haha

he literally must be the most annoying person to play against in super league!

Does anyone know if we are still going to sign him for next year?

If so, with HKR now out of the running with the play-offs, will this be announced soon?

Cheers, looking forward to a bit of good news coming our way. If he and Walsh gel, we should be in good shape next year (as long as they avoid long term injuries!!)

I'm looking forward to seeing them together. They've played together at Penrith and reportedly had a good relationship there on and off the field. Yet again we look strong on paper next year but we rarely seem to finish the season with the same team that started it. If we had done that over the last couple of years then we'd have a couple more trophies in the cabinet.

Agree, we've never been the same since Apollo left the conditioning role. We seem to lack endurance and pick up too many injuries, can just be down to luck. Bring him back or someone with a big reputation in that type of role.

I have been told that it's a done deal involving £60k transfer fee but I should perhaps stop listening to those voices in my head.

Bargain! Wasn't it supposed to be £100k?
Suppose the competition to sign him was £20, a couple of steak & kidney pies and a soft uncle joes found in Lenagan's pocket. What can you expect without your own stadium!

60k is correct, not 100k as originally reported.

No point using their own catering facilities and conducting their business privately at the stadium. You can make a much better impression on a prospective new player at Tesco's cafeteria.

Perhaps it was conducted in public to impress some of the lardy-ar5ed Saints fans.

Or the cafe bar wasn't open, which I believe is the case more often than not.

That explains why we haven't signed a stand off for years. The Cafe Bar is always shut.

I think they had calendars and diaries spread out across the tables looking for when to pencil him in for his serious injury.
