Number 7, played well.
This wonderful St. Helens OUTFIT
I'd be happy with O Brien as a short term measure. He's seemed to do well from the little I've seen him play at Wire and would be far better than not having a scrum half at all. As for Walsh, I've not seen him play, so can't really comment. But from comments on here it sounds like he fits the bill.
I will believe we have signed him when he turns out for us, but i can hope.
Sadly I just cant see that happening. He is a natural 6 too and it's such a shame. I have a horrible feeling it wont matter who we want because we'll be stuck with Shitty Hohaia for another 2 seasons, saying that if we get Lomax fit and playing 1 with a good organising 7 he might not look quite as shit.
I know that I'm merely stating that the 2 named candidates are who we should chase to replace Sam when he goes.
I think Lomax could be an outstanding FB as could Eastmond.
Lets face it we are not going to get an NRL superstar so those 2 are the best candidates IMO.
Fwiw I think Saints will tie Lomax down long term.
Seasoned logs for sale £3.50 per net bag or £30 for 10 net bags delivered within Billinge/Wigan area.
Fair enough so he's not available without a fee from the right team although I can honestly see him being a 1 club man.

Apart from that clip I've seen nothing of him so can't comment too much on him (although the clip does highlight a strong kicking game and short passing game) but I just hope we sign an out and out half back. I remember when Eastmond confirmed he was leaving and we speculated every name under the sun and ended with Hohaia so until we have something more concrete I'm not getting my hopes up on this.

I was anticipating going for a junior who needed a couple of seasons first grade in the uk to go to the next level, like Jacob Miller at Wests.
Not excited first off but he could be a diamond. Either way he will need a 6 and neither Hohaia or Wheeler are the answer for different reasons.
Hanbury or Snyed would be a good foil.
Interesting article.

1.08 to 1.20 lol
I wonder if O'Brien might be available full stop , Dire linked to Shaun Johnson http://forums.rlfans.com/viewtopic.p...smp=1367269450 . With Myler and Ratchford already there wouldnt leave much room for him.
Dire also linked with Matty Bowen as the young up and coming replacement for Hodgson ....
