I think that the Liverpool game on the 8th and i am willing to stand corrected, is the lastone for 24 days, if everything and i mean everything, will/ money/ materials, a lot could be done to resolve the problem.

If all of those things where in place they could be starting on the 9th, only the South stand is being used until the second of February.

There's a friendly on Friday, possibly one on the 24th?

The last press release said a further announcement will be made early in the New Year. I would therefore not be expecting any work to be done in the near future. I don't know, but would not not be surprised if the statement was along the lines of this needing to be a significant structural project and therfore can't be done in the season. I suspect this was always the case hence another announcement in the New Year. Hope this isn't so but you just get a sense that this is how it is going to go - let's hope the mild weather continues! Whatever the outcome I suspect Saints have broadly known for a while what needs to happen (or not). Should know soon enough anyway.

I have been to LP today for tickets and there is a lot of activity on the west side, at least three vehicles with raised platforms. I didn't go round to the north side.

Just been told at the ticket office that the north stand is closed for both these games. They are selling tickets for both the south and the west stands. There are no north stand tickets for sale on the web site

They're always parked there. They're nothing to do with Saints.

If they are nothing to do with Saints why were the vehicles near the stadium wall with platforms elevated and workers doing something in the west stand roof?
As I said there was a lot of activity not parked vehicles!

I've been told big chunks of the paintwork have been peeling off the roof beams, they are having to be repainted.

There's a lot of rust on the outer part of the stadium, not good for a two year old stadium

I wonder if those involved in construction of Langtre Park were involved in this 'accomlishment':

Unfortunately, quite a few will heed that advice if the weather is poor on a match day.

Notwithstanding that it is a reemarkably blaise attitude to those currently paying hard earned money to watch sub-standard tat.

I wonder when the "adverse weather has prevented us from starting the cladding process" or some variant of that bullshlt gets peddled by the club... The letter 'a' from langtree (tesco side) has been buggered for the last week or so and not fixed...

I wonder when Saints will be truthful with us all that there is in fact no money to do it... And McManus lied to our faces at the forum... I would have thought something would have been measured or some progress made... I drive past a few times a day during work but nothing to date
