Yes he will be on the bench and Simmons will then bring him on after 74 minutes

What is the point of breaking up Meli and Foster. Armstrong is perfectly capable of playing wing outside Shenton and Wheeler is no way going to be fit enough to play 80 minutes at centre.

I can't see Wheeler starting tbh, Armstrong would be a good option next to Shenton and Gaskell will be starting next to Pryce.

I did say that is the team I'd go with if everyone was fit... If everyone was fit then that's the team that would give us the best chance of beating Hudds and wrapping up third. With the points in the bag I'd then give the likes of Ashe and Armstrong runouts for the rest of the season, but let's get 3rd in the bag first. FWIW I'd be amazed to see Wheeler on the pitch for more than 5 minutes - call it wishful thinking on my part if you like.

Even if Wheeler was 100% fit and guaranteed to last 80 minutes I wouldn't break up Meli and Foster (our most potent attacking threat) when Armstrong can just come straight in for Makinson outside Shenton. If Wheeler was going to start he'd either start in the halves or on the wing instead of Armstrong.

The ball didn't go to Makinson once against Wigan so Royce could stick Barry Ward outside Shenny for all I care.

The ball hardly went to Shenton, we only seem to be able to pass from right to left.
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

    Likely team is...

    Paul Wellens
    Tom Armstrong
    Michael Shenton
    Francis Meli
    Jamie Foster
    Leon Pryce
    Lee Gaskell
    LMS
    James Roby
    James Graham
    Sia Soliola
    Jon Wilkin
    Tony Puletua

    Scott Moore
    Paul Clough
Matty Ashurst/Andrew Dixon (who cares, Ashurst probably)
    Gary Wheeler

I would like to see Ashe get a game but it's unlikely.

From a selfish view Graham can have a rest next season.

Any idea how serious TP's injury is? Just missing this week or for a few?
