Maybe I am reading too much into this and it might be wishful thinking, but seeing as Meli and Wilkin aren't mention as being doubtful, do we assume they play? Also, there is no Armstrong in the squad so they must be confident of Meli playing.

If this is the case, it could go something like:

    Eastmond
    Makinson
    Shenton
    Meli
    Foster
    Gaskel
    Lomax
    Graham
    Roby
    TP
    Soliola
    Wilkin
    Flannery

    Moore
    Dixon
    Pryce
    Magennis

That would be enough I reckon. I hope!

It doesn't mention them being doubts only Clough and Wellens, so i would assume that they are playing.

Simmons said Pryce wouldn't start. Swap him with gaskell, and I'd expect LMS to start at prop with tp at loose. Think that's how he'll go

Didn't know that. I wouldn't start with Jammer, LMS and Puletua on the field, Magennis will probably play prop as well but we need another prop coming off the bench given the size of Catalans pack.

Id expect to see Leon in the last 20.. Hopefully can give a good account of himself, and hopefully the team can stay injury free for once lol

Technically there should be a good crowd on for this as its a big game in our season, but because "its only Catalan" im not expectiong over 7k, which is shocking
St. Helens RLFC.... Its your team... And your team needs YOU! :saint:

7k for Catalan at Widnes would be a good crowd IMO. Bear in mind they only bring 10 fans.

I agree completely, I've said a few times about our three 'big players' starting throughout the year. Just think he'll go with that again

Ah rubbish, both missed last weeks game and i'd hoped they'd be kept out of this. That's a very good squad they have to choose from there.

I do like Baitieri, he's only young but is a work horse and tough too - really took it to Peacock all game against Leeds.

I'd like him at Saints, along with many other Catalans players!

He has but Henderson has arguably been there key man, without Deureu though a lot of responsibility falls on the shoulders of Steve Menzies, his last two games at SO have been superb so he's due an off day!

A huge pack and Kyle at FB. Hmmmmm. I hope we score plenty because I can see us conceding plenty!
I bought a pack of luminous condoms last week. The wife's face lit up.

IMO i disagree, the role of the lock has changed. We get on a role with Puletua, Graham, Scarsbrook, Soliola running consecutively. However saying that, from what i have seen from Flannery this season he has improved on his go forward

And then the wheels fall off when they are all rested/tire and our subs aren't big enough to do the work the mentioned players do. Once again only my opinion. Just feel bringing TP of the bench would benefit us more
