Dear all,
I've been meaning to sign up here for a while now to say 'thanks' to all who have posted pics of the stadium.
I saw it for real for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Made my hair stand on end!
Keep up the good work!
Cya!

I never thought walking down peasley cross road could give the thrills it does.

You will have that dog leaving home.
Some more pics from a few days ago....near impossible to get a view of inside unless you're given access.
KNOWSLEY ROAD 1890-2010. A part of history soon to be no more...the place that meant so much to so many people. Farewell old lady, forever in our hearts.
Masterfull.
[SIZEI5"][/SIZE]I drive past it 9 times a day 6 days a week driving the No. 32 and it gets better every time i see it:
They have started to put the outside cladding on the south stand today
Or it could be the inside skin.
It is getting more exciting each time I see it. The aerial shots in particular look great I have to say

Hope someone can answer this for me.
At Widnes we walk up the stairs and enter the stadium area at the top and (mostly) walk down to our seats.
At our new ground, it looks like we walk into the stadium at ground level and walk up to our seats.
I have seen a few photos that show no access to the seating/terracing from these 'entrances'.
This photo is a good example.
Is the wall (in the background) just a temporary erection(!) or what?

St Helens , A real Saints pub
the cladding goin up now is the thermo skin.... there will be another skin on top of that as i'm pretty sure that bit will be red
It is not a temporary wall no, the pitch level in that shot is below what it will be when it is finished so the walkways will be a bit higher and on top of that the steps either side of the vomitories will extend down beyond that wall which is to allow space for wheelchair access and carer seating as per this image...
