Bridge goes in October time. Piling crew start shortly. Temp supports are to go in middle of road so it can be bolted together and crane choice is still at design stage. I can't see the crane being that big personally.

Without trawling through all the threads, has anyone taken any pictures from the side of Howdens on Sherdley Industrial Estate? was down there the other day and the view is awesome, might need some invention to get pictures over the fence, but nothing our intrepid photographers couldn't manage it really puts into perspective the size of this project.
With living outside St Helens and the team not playing in the town we rely on the fantastic dedication of the Saints brotherhood taking these amazing photo's . I wish to say a big "thankyou" and i know i speak for other exiles too...

Two photos of the stadium build with credit given to Redvee in an article on the St Helens Star website, which will likely appear in the paper version next Thursday.

Just watched this video and (not that i'm bothered) I remember someone saying this Tesco will have a second floor. I can see any second floor in this video except the tiny bit in the far left corner.
The big crane was moving roofing from the compound across the road and placing them on top of the structure. Spent ages about 7pm watching it fold up

It was me. I read the tesco wiki page and it said that all new tesco extra stores since 2005 i think, will have a mezzanine floor. When i did some research another site said that the original plans might not show a 2nd floor as it isnt a floor as such it hangs from the roof or on stilts. So tesco will either do it when they do the fitting or they will wait a bit and then do it like they did with the prescot store.

it was just an example of a mezzanine.
Does anybody know the specific ral or bs colour for the red that saints use or point in the right direction of who would know? Thanks in advance

I cannot believe you put a picture of homebase up whilst typing about Tesco. Thats like signing Brent Webb and referring to him as an Aussie whilst he is shown in his NZ shirt.
i looked for a tesco store but couldnt find one. I was actually talking about how a mezzanine floor might not be in the plans as it is on stilts or hangs from the roof, and that is what the pic shows. regardless of the fact that it is homebase or tesco in the pic.
Non no, it's too late now to come up with excuses. How can we ever believe anything you say ever. In fact you've spoilt this whole thread and the new stadium too.
